PUBG Lite vs PUBG: What are the differences?
Today we will explain what are the differences between PUBG and PUBG Lite. A little brother has been born for ‘PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds’, intended for users with less powerful computers and who do not want to pay to play, and although it is currently only in a beta version not available in Europe, we will see what these are big differences.

We’ll start by briefly explaining what exactly PUBG Lite is so you know what to expect from it. And then we will talk about their differences, starting with a comparison of their minimum and recommended specifications and ending with the differences that currently exist in their playability.

First, what is PUBG Lite?
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) is a very popular game, although it has two disadvantages that put it at a disadvantage over competitors like Fortnite. The first is that it is a paid game and the second is that it has much higher minimum requirements to play, so you need a more powerful and expensive computer to play smoothly.
And this is where PUBG Lite comes in a free version with lower specification requirements. So you don’t need to spend any money on the base game, nor do you need to have such a powerful computer. In fact, an integrated Intel HD graphics is sufficient in the minimum requirements of the Lite version.

It is important to note that This is an exclusive version for the Asian market, at least for now. In fact, for now the beta is only accessible from Thailand. It’s in these markets that PUBG hits pretty hard, so it makes sense that it’s prioritizing them to try and expand its user base.
if(typeof ez_ad_units!=’undefined’){ez_ad_units.push([[336,280],’samagame_com-large-mobile-banner-2′,’ezslot_3′,678,’0′,’0′])};__ez_fad_position(‘div-gpt-ad-samagame_com-large-mobile-banner-2-0 ‘);
Another thing to note is that PUBG Lite also has some gameplay differences from its older brother. It is logical that the graphics suffer when the requirements are lower, but there are also limits to the cards and the camera that can be used.
if(typeof ez_ad_units!=’undefined’){ez_ad_units.push([[250,250],’samagame_com-leader-4′,’ezslot_6′,679,’0′,’0′])};__ez_fad_position(‘div-gpt-ad-samagame_com-leader-4-0’);
Additionally, this is currently a game entering beta, which means that This can change quite a bit over time and through user testing about how the game experience is now and how it will eventually evolve. So if you are interested in the title, be patient because at the moment the beta does not reach Spain, nor is there a full version.

As you can see from the table above, There are very clear differences between the minimum specifications of the full PUBG and that of the Lite version. The only coincidence really lies in the operating system, because in everything else this light version is significantly less demanding than the original.
For starters, you can see that the minimum processor requirements you need are much lower in PUBG Lite, which only requires a Core i3 compared to the i5 of the full version. Also use half of the RAM than its older brother, with just 4GB instead of PUBG’s full 8.
However, the most drastic changes concern the GPU and internal storage. PUBG in its full version requires at least 2GB graphics card, while the Lite version with an integrated Intel HD Graphics 4000 graphics card is enough. On the internal storage, this new version finishes with 4 free gigs, an eerie contrast to the 30 that the full requires.
And I remind you that these are the minimum specifications required for the game to run at the minimum resolutions. Next we’ll go to the recommended specs, where you’ll also see some differences.

The first difference you’ll find in the recommended specs is in the processor. In both cases, at least i5 is required, but while the desired model for the full version has a frequency of 3.5 GHz, the model for the lite version only asks for 2.8 GHz. There are also differences in working memorywith 8 GB for the Lite version and 16 GB for the full version.
To be able to play the game with good resolution and quality in both cases, you need a dedicated graphics card in this case, although the requested models for the Lite version are less powerful and therefore cheaper. Y The minimum available disk space does not change on your hard drive, which is much lower for this Lite version.
In-game differences
Considering that PUBG Lite is still in beta, in an experimental phase of its development, it is still too early to talk about the definitive differences that may exist in gameplay. However, we’ll talk about a few from the start that you might want to consider.
The first is this PUBG Lite currently only has one map available to play. This makes sense considering it’s a free version, but it’s a far cry from the four already available for the full version.
Another one of the first differences we noticed is in the camera. PUBG allows you to play with first and third person cameras, but in the lite version we can only play in third person. This means that we will see our character in motion at all times.
And finally, as we can see in one of the first comparison videos already arriving, There are the graphical differences between both matches. Obviously there must be differences, considering that there are differences that also exist regarding minimum specifications. The lite version lives up to its name here and looks a little worse than the full version, but a little better than the mobile version.
Character textures and modeling are more detailed in the full version, and the distance from which they attack nearby elements is greater. While this is a somewhat basic version, the Lite version isn’t years away either. But that’s already something you’ll have to judge for yourself with the video we left you with.
As we told you from the beginning, it is currently in a beta version, strongly limited to only one country. This means that This version still has a lot of development work to doso there may be more or less differences over time.
