Media: Apple has postponed the release of the Vision Pro helmet until spring 2024

Bloomberg reported on Apple’s upcoming plans and technical developments.

Journalists have learned that Tim Cook’s organization will not be releasing a mixed reality headset called Vision Pro in the near future. The release was supposed to take place in January or February 2024. However, the release was postponed until spring.

The reason for this delay is explained by difficulties in testing the device and developing a sales strategy. At the same time, the company plans to meet the official release dates, which are scheduled for “early 2024”.

Vision Pro testers complain that the device causes motion sickness. For this reason, it is simply impossible to work more than a few hours. Apple is already addressing serious shortcomings. The helmet costs 3.5 thousand dollars.

Previously, Roskomnadzor (RKN), together with the Media Communication Union (MCS) and copyright holders, presented a mechanism for blocking illegal sources with prohibited content.
