The RBC publication reported on the possible refusal of Russian retailers to sell Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III.
M.Video-Eldorado, DNS and other networks fear that the upcoming shooter could contain scenes of violence against Russian citizens. Journalists contacted distributors about selling titles. The M.Video-Eldorado network has already confirmed the game’s denial.
On August 7, Activision announced Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III. The shooter will be released on November 10, 2023. It is already known that most of the content will be transferred to the game from Modern Warfare II.
On August 17, the shooter’s page was updated on the Steam digital store. The developers have launched pre-orders. The game is not sold in Russia. In addition, the first full gameplay trailer appeared on the official Call of Duty YouTube channel.
According to rumors, Modern Warfare III will include a campaign, multiplayer and zombie mode. Beta testing of the shooter is scheduled for October 2023. Also, the new part of CoD will receive Russian localization.
