Tencent has released a trailer for the upcoming MMORPG game TarisLand on its YouTube channel.
The title will be released on both PC and mobile devices. The developers promised PvE and PvP content. As part of the story, gamers will take on the role of adventurers in a world called Taris. Players can progress through the story in a universe where war does not stop and monsters disrupt the lives of representatives of different races. At the same time, many gamers noticed the similarity of TarisLand with World of Warcraft.
At midnight on January 24, Chinese gamers said goodbye to their characters in World of Warcraft and other Activision Blizzard games. Title servers are disabled. The event took place due to the break of a multi-year contract between the Chinese company NetEase and Activision Blizzard. The organizations worked together for 14 years, but could not agree on intellectual property, the processing of personal data and financial conditions.
