British actress Bella Ramsay, best known for her role as Ellie, has revealed the approximate shooting date of the second season of The Last of Us.
The singer noted that the show’s premiere could be in 2025:
The second season will be released soon. I think shooting will start at the end of this year or early next year. The season itself will likely release in late 2024 or early 2025.
Recall that the first season of The Last of Us was released on March 13, 2023. The ninth and final episode of The Last of Us was watched by approximately 8.2 million viewers in less than a day since its premiere. The premiere of the film adaptation took place on January 15, 2023. The second season will be based on the sequel to the game. In this case, Ramsay himself returns in the role of Ellie.
