Epic Games plans to discontinue the free-to-play battle royale Rumbleverse. According to insider Tom Henderson, this will happen before the end of February 2023.
According to the source, the developers will officially talk about the closure in the near future. Most likely, the reasons for this decision are related to the low popularity of Rumbleverse.
When the battle royale is removed from the stores, it will become available to play. Note that the release of Rumbleverse took place on August 11, 2022 on PC, as well as the PlayStation and Xbox consoles.
In the Rumbleverse, players must fight against each other on a tropical map where 40 fighters can be at the same time. In addition to other gamers, the deep sea poses a threat.
Earlier, the Fortnite community asked Epic Games to remove the batting hammer from the game.
