The Moscow Computer Sports Federation and the Moscow Department of Sports have launched a free online eSports section.
Classes begin on February 1 on the free Discord platform. All residents of the city from 14 to 17 years old can participate. For training you will need a computer with the game installed, a microphone and internet access. There are 2 programs for gamers to choose from: the Dota 2 battle arena and the 3D tactical battle VALORANT.
The players are trained by professional coaches from Moskomsport. The head coach of the section was Dmitry Panov, who in 2022 led the League of Legends team of the Russian State University of Physical Culture, Sports, Youth and Tourism (RUS GTSOLIFK) to victory in the championship of the Moscow Student Esports League.
To register for the section, you need to prepare a package of documents: a medical certificate that allows you to exercise, original passports and SNILS. The participant will be contacted within 3 working days after registration via the online service “Find sports services” to clarify the details.
Previously, offlaner of the BetBoom Team roster Egor Nightfall Grigorenko topped the top of the best players according to the interim statistics of the first round of DPC 2023.
