Bungie Studio has responded to user reports about Destiny 2 servers not working.
Developers on social media noted that they are addressing the progression issue that many gamers have been experiencing. However, it is not known how long the prevention lasts. Meanwhile, the servers are unavailable for 16 hours:
Destiny 2 has been taken offline. We are investigating an issue causing some players to lose Triumphs, Seals, and Catalysts. Wait for news.
Destiny 2 was released in 2017 on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Stadia, and PC. In 2019, the game switched to a shareware distribution model.
Earlier, the reason for the massive breakdown related to Apple equipment in Russia became known.
