Riot Games has presented a video reviewing the gameplay of the 2024 season in League of Legends.
The theme of the upcoming seasonal patch will be the Void invasion of Summoner’s Rift. The landscape of the game will change. New Abyss Larvae will appear in Baron Nashor’s new lair. A monster’s appearance also affects the map, but the winnings after killing it will not change.
Moreover, the developers will abandon the system of mythical artifacts. LoL will add new items and rework the support champion purchasing system. Support players playing in the bottom lane develop the same artifact regardless of their specialization.
The patch has already appeared on the PBE server, but the official release has not yet taken place. Riot Games will continue to make adjustments until the update releases in January 2024. After this, players can complete missions for champions.
Earlier, South Korean President Yoon Seok-yeol addressed the winners of the 2023 World Championship in League of Legends on social networks. The politician noted that the T1 team won this tournament four times.
On November 19, Riot Games officially announced the location of the next League of Legends World Championship. The 2024 World Championship will take place in Great Britain.
