Players from the T1 team, after winning the 2023 World Championship League of Legends tournament, named during a press conference the characters for whom they would like to see new champion skins.
Each of the T1 members named their heroes, and four-time world champion Lee Faker Sang-hyuk noted that he would ask fans which character they would like a skin for.
Heroes whose skins were chosen by the 2023 World Championship champions:
- Zeus: “Jace of Yone.”
- A: “Li Sin.”
- Faker: “I haven’t thought about it. I want to choose the one that the fans like the most.”
- Gumayusi: “Damn.”
- Keria: “Renata of Bard.”
The 2023 World Championship took place from October 10 to November 19 at the LAN in Seoul, South Korea. 22 teams competed for $2.225 million in prize money. In the final, T1 defeated Weibo with a score of 3:0 and received $445,000 in prize money.
It was previously announced that the League of Legends World Championship final between T1 and Weibo was watched by more than six million people at its peak.
