Riot Games has announced a change to the unranked mode in League of Legends.
The appeal took place on the company’s social networks. The developers will change the Blind Pick mode, in which players select heroes at the same time and do not see opponents before the start of the match. As this system proved unpopular, Riot Games decided to replace it with “Quick Play”. In the updated mode, players can choose champions and preferred roles. However, the preparation phase will be cancelled. The game starts as soon as the teams are formed.
In addition, LoL developers will add new skins for Orianna, Serafina, Senna, Shyvana, Udyr and Doctor Mundo. Rell’s gameplay will also be changed and Skarner’s editing will be improved.
Earlier, Overwatch 2 lead developer Morgan Madden spoke as part of a podcast about the flawed functioning of the rank system.
