Shopify Rebellion and Tundra Esports play at The International 12

Two more teams have been announced that will play in the main Dota 2 tournament of the year in 2023. At The International 12, Shopify Rebellion and Tundra Esports were selected based on DPC points.

According to the calculations of the Liquipedia portal, the composition of Arthur Arteezy Babaev ranks fourth in the overall DPC rating, with 1170 points on his account. In turn, the reigning champion of The International represented by Tundra received 1160 points, closing the top 5 of the table.

According to Valve’s updated rating, Shopify Rebellion and Tundra are on the 10th and 12th lines, respectively. However, it is worth noting that the developers have not yet calculated all team points for DPC 2023.

On June 5, all participants of The Bali Major 2023 were announced. The Major will take place from June 29 to July 9 at LAN in Bali, Indonesia. 18 teams from around the world will compete for $500,000 in prize money and 3,500 DPC points. After the championship, all teams will be announced that will perform by direct invitation at The International 12 (2023). The rest of the squads play qualifiers to get into the event.

The International 12 will take place October 14-29 in Seattle, USA. The top 18 teams will compete in the most important Dota 2 tournament of the year. They will compete for a minimum of $1.6 million in prize money. The prize pool is replenished through the sale of the Battle Pass.

Previously, Team Liquid, Gaimin Gladiators, and Evil Geniuses have already passed TI12.
