Korb3n: DPC competition is interesting in terms of point distribution

Team Spirit manager Dmitry Korb3n Belov commented on the situation with DPC 2023 and The International 2023 points as part of a Twitch broadcast on Alexander Nix Levin’s channel.

The specialist noted that the level of teams will show performance at the Major and TI12:

I would bet remotely. Of course you want to win. But I won’t be mad if we play Dota 2 and lose. The distance is displayed. You can come to the same major and outperform the BetBoom Team. It is possible to perform better at TI. Or you can win the DPC competition and then underperform at TI. Everyone will then not be interested in a place in the DPC. The competition is interesting in terms of point distribution. For second place, of course, they give less. That’s the only reason you want to win. There is no principle. Of course I want to win, but from a professional point of view, only DPC points are important. If the difference were insignificant, then there would already be a sporting interest. And so only DPC points.

Earlier, Team Spirit roster carrier Ilya Yatoro Mulyarchuk spoke about the upcoming match against BetBoom Team at DPC 2023.

The first division of DPC 2023 for Eastern Europe will take place online from 8 to 29 January. Eight teams compete for $205,000, 690 DPC points and three tickets to the Major.
