One of the Reddit users, Falconx1337, shared information that using the Windows 7 operating system while playing Counter-Strike 2 can get you banned.
Players write comments on reddit and Steam with reports that they received bans in CS2 while using Windows 7, but gamers did not receive such bans while playing CS:GO. According to Valve’s latest user hardware survey, the share of players running Windows 7 is only 0.08%.
Many players who were banned in CS2 wrote to Steam tech support, but at this time they have not received any explanation from Valve or the Counter-Strike 2 developers.
Previously, references to the Arms Race mode were found in the CS2 code.
