Tournament organizer ESL presented a comic trailer of Counter-Strike 2 on the YouTube channel.
The company parodied Valve. In the video, ESL talked about adding weather changes, snippet bonuses, the ability to turn invisible, and other innovations to the game.
On May 18, the Streams Charts portal published data on Counter-Strike 2 broadcasts on Twitch. Then, at the peak of the stream, 68 people were watching and the average number reached 24 viewers. At the same time, CS2 closed beta testing began on March 22, 2023.
Recall that from 2024 Valve will hold majors in Counter-Strike 2, which is scheduled for release in the summer of 2023. The first CS2 Major will be hosted by the tournament operator PGL – the event itself will take place in March 2024 in Denmark.
