G2 Esports professional player Nikola NiKo Kovacs shared his thoughts on the team’s performance at BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 in CS:GO as part of a vlog.
It’s a shame that G2 Esports crashed out of the Major so early and couldn’t play on the podium in front of the French fans. I don’t want to apologize for the game, but we are definitely not happy with our result. G2 continues to work. Counter-Strike 2 will have different features, a new chapter begins. I will keep chasing trophies and try to win the Major.

Recall that G2 Esports failed to qualify for the Major’s playoffs, having completed their performance in the Legends stage, taking 12-14th place. Despite this, the team placed fourth in the top Esports Charts.
BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 was held May 8-21 in Paris, France. 24 teams competed for a $1.25 million prize pool. The championship was the last major in CS:GO.
