The professional player of the FaZe Clan CS:GO roster Robin ropz Cool spoke about the team’s preparation for the upcoming tournaments in an interview with the Blix portal.
The esportsman noted that the main goal for his team is IEM Katowice 2023, which is why the team trained with Howard Rain Nygard for BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2023 despite his absence.
There is practically no preparation for BLAST. Before the tournament we mainly trained with rain, but we knew it wouldn’t be in this championship. This is currently our priority as he will return for IEM Katowice 2023. This championship is our main goal and we want to be ready for the tournament. We knew we were going to use k0nfig, but then something happened. Then es3tag came in as a replacement and we had a few hours, a few cards to practice with, and I think that was about it. Even maybe 5 hours were not together.
Earlier, FaZe Clan defeated OG Esports in the group stage of BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2023. The match ended with a score of 2:1 on cards in favor of Finn Karrigan Andersen’s team (16:7 on Mirage, 11:16 on Ancient and 16:4 on Inferno).
BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2023 will take place January 19-29 in Copenhagen, Denmark. 12 teams compete for a prize pool of $177.5K, as well as travel to the Spring Finals 2023.

I have always been a huge fan of video games, ever since I was a kid. I used to spend hours upon hours playing them and still do to this day. My passion for gaming led me to start writing about it as well. It is my hope that through my articles, I can help others discover and appreciate the wonderful world of video games like I have.
