Four-way tie for second in EPL groups as Heroic beats ENCE

René ‘TeSeS’ Madsen and the rest of Heroic easily handled the international ENCE counterattack Ready. This is Heroic’s first win of ESL Pro League Season 16, and each team has just three games left to see who will advance to the playoffs.

Heroic started the match by choosing the weaker ENCE map, and saw a great start in the top three with this pick.

Heroic defeated ENCE 2-0, with TeSeS posting a stellar performance on the first map, Ancient (16-13), and then earned a victory in the group finals, holding off the ENCE roster before the exit of 13 rounds.

The second map, unfortunately, was not that close for ENCE. Vertigo (16-10), was packed with incredibly solid CT from Heroic. Casper ‘cadiaN’ Møller and TeSeS prepared ENCE beef easily and avoided T-side aggression.

Group C is tied at four for second place, with unexpected difficulty in first place.

The only thing that separates these squads is a round difference that sees the Astrals rise above the rest. Heroic lost to MOUZ 0-2 in the first round of Group C, eventually going into a redemption match against ENCE.

Second CS: go ahead For the new trucks, the Valde and SunPayus matches on the ENCE side did not go as planned, but there is still room to advance to the ESL Pro League playoffs.
